It is a 1+800 dial around Service for GlobalTel customers making calls from the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam or Western Samoa.

Can a customer make calls from any telephone?

YES. Calls can be made from any telephone: public, private, hotel lobby, hotel room, airport phones, any kind of mobile phone or any friends phone.

Do I need a seperate account for Globaltel USA 800 Service?

NO. All GlobalTel customers, worldwide, can enjoy this service when visiting the US, Canada or the US Territories. This service is available to any customer using any other GlobalTel services.

Is there a monthly fee or any special charges for this service?

NO. There are no monthly fees and no minimum use requirements for the USA 800 Service, Callback Service, or for any of the GlobalTel direct dial services available to customers in over 60 countries.

Does Globaltel USA 800 Service replace my regular long distance servicce at my home or office?

NO. GlobalTel USA 800 Service is an alternative direct dial international long distance service. You can use it or you can use your regular long distance service. It is an additional way to make US or Canada domestic or international calls.

I live in the United States and my regular long distance service is billed monthly by my local telephone service provider. Can I have Globaltel’s service added to this billing service too?

NO. Your bills for GlobalTel services are billed, monthly, to your international credit card. GlobalTel accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and JCB (Japan).

I am a Globaltel customer from China and I use Globaltel’s UIFN 800 number direct dial service. I dial 00 + (800) 0000-2468. I will be travelling in the USA. Does the Globaltel USA 800 Service work the same as UIFN Service?

Yes, except that in the US you dial 1 + (800) 430-2331. You use the same PIN number you use in China.

I am a Globaltel customer from Mexico where I use Globaltel's Callback Service from my home phone,my office phone and my mobile phone. When I travel in the US, can I use Callback Service there?

Yes, but you do not want to. You can Dial Direct from any telephone by dialling 1+800-430-2331. Enter your PIN when prompted. The calls will be billed to your regular GlobalTel account at the same low rates you enjoy as a callback customer.

I am from Europe and I use Globaltel's UIFN 800 Number Direct Dial from any phone when I travel thru Europe. When I visit the USA, can I still use my Globaltel account?

YES. You will direct dial from any telephone just as you do in Europe. The dialing procedure for the US and Canada is 1+800-430-2331. When prompted, use the same PIN you use in Europe.

I am a Globaltel Callback customer from Kenya. I use the 99 Number Speed Dialling feature for rapid dialling of multiple numbers to saave time and money. When I travel in the US, can I use Speed Dialling with Globaltel USA 800 Service?

YES. GlobalTel USA 800 works from the same switches as are used for the Callback service for Kenya. You can not only use speed dialing when you travel in the US, but the speed dialing numbers you have programmed into your account will be recognized when you are in the US and you do not have to reprogram them.

What rates are applied to the Globaltel USA 800 Service?

The same low rates supplied to you by your GlobalTel agent when you opened your account will apply.

I travel in the US and Canada and need to make about twelve (12) calls a day. How can I program these calls for Speed Dialling so I can save time in dialling them?

You can program your speed dialing numbers online. Instructions are provided by your GlobalTel Agent, or you can get instructions at your Agent’s website or GlobalTel’s website at www.GlobalTel.com. You can also have them emailed to you by contacting support@GlobalTel.com.
